Israel, 1976 There is probably little one could say
about Israel
that has not already been said or written. I visited this land of
antiquity in 1976. By the time I left, after but a brief sojourn,
my sympathies had been aroused for both Israelis and
Palestinians.
It saddens me that the longtime goal of peaceful coexistence has
remained
elusive to this day. |
